Well the last book i picked up, Daughter, I put it down after 50 pages because it was moving rfeally slow with little literary affects to keep me interested. I picked up Cry, The Beloved Country by Alan Paton and I just don't see what all the hype is about. I mean its not as slow as Daughter, but the writing isn't as good as I thought it would be. I am on page 100 and I won't put it down. But for those who have read Cry, The Beloved Country, can you tell me some things you liked or disliked about it? Happy reading!!
